What is DIN EN 71-3?

This is a standard that regulates that the lacquers used for the beads, cubes etc. are sweat and saliva resistant. Even if the lacquer comes off through sucking or chewing, it is harmless for your baby.

Why do we use so-called safety beads and what kind of beads are they?
